Panic at Newark Airport After Travelers Told to Evacuate
Travelers at Newark Airport were given an intense scare Monday night, as some on social media said they were told to quickly flee Terminal A. The panic was sparked around 8:30 p.m. after passenger, including some who were about to board their flights, were told to leave the airport by nervous airline attendants, people on social media claimed. She grew concerned after talking with them, so she hit an alarm and told people to leave the terminal, the spokesman said.
A man was spotted wearing a full suit of armor, including chainmail and helmet, at Atlanta airport, sparking theories as to how he got through security.
Will O'Connor, a doctor traveling on business on October 17, said he'd had his toothpaste taken confiscated by security when he spotted the knight at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
The man, believed to be in his 60s, was sat with other passengers in the departure lounge 'as if trying to blend in', while O'Connor was left baffled.

Here are the airports you may want to avoid when planning your next summer getaway.
A TSA spokesperson said they believe the man would have packed his knight armor and put it on once through security, rather than have been permitted to wear it.
O'Connor, from Atlanta, said: 'I was pretty fed up to have my toothpaste taken off me after seeing that.
'I was a little mad - more funny mad, not really angry. They're doing everything they can to keep us safe.
'I don't know if he went through the scanner with it on, or if they made him take it off.
'But I thought it was pretty funny they let him through with the big helmet and everything.
'It makes you wonder how he'd fit [on the plane]. I don't know who he was sitting next to but that must have been interesting.'
The older man, who O'Connor believes might have been involved in cosplay, remained sat down waiting for a flight as people stared in confusion.

Police were called to Orlando International Airport on Saturday just before 10:30 a.m. after receiving reports of a "suspicious person," Orlando Police Lt. Wanda Miglio said in a statement. The woman was escorted off Delta flight 1516, bound for Atlanta, after failing to produce a boarding pass when another passenger complained that she was in her seat, Miglio said.
O'Connor said: 'I have no idea how he got through. I'd hate to be running late for my flight and having him in front of me.
'He was sitting in my area for that gate but I didn't see him get on the plane.
'He was all by himself - he didn't have anyone else dressed like that with him.
'I have no idea why he would wear that and not pack it. [Maybe] it was cosplay or something?
'Maybe he didn't want to pay the excess baggage charge. It looked heavy.
'Other people were looking at him but he didn't seem to mind. He looked like he was trying to blend in with the rest of the passengers.
'He reminded me of the knight in Indiana Jones. He looked just like one of them.
'I don't know what happened to him, but I guess he was allowed on the plane to get to his destination.'would have packed it in their hand luggage and changed once past security.
A TSA spokesperson claimed that there had been a DragonCon convention in Atlanta that weekend, where he believes it is likely the knight originated.
