World’s largest White Castle runs out of burgers on day 1

World’s largest White Castle runs out of burgers on day 1 To some, White Castle may just be another fast food burger joint. To others— myself included—it is a religion. It’s the kind of place we take our loves on Valentine’s Day; it’s where we marry them when we realize they’re “the one”. It’s a restaurant that, for some of us, becomes more than a restaurant. While there are those who are aghast at the chaos that occurred yesterday when White Castle opened its first-ever location in Arizona, there are plenty of us who understand that everything about this is perfectly normal:© Photo: White CastleWe’re excited that you’re excited about the #WhiteCastleArizona opening. ???? Even better is that Tawstock Castle sleeps eight people, so if you get seven of your friends in on this vacation, it’s only going to average out to about $60 per person per night. There’s a two night minimum, so double that — $120 per person for two nights — and that’s still not much to pay when you consider that you will be staying in an actual castle.

Situated in the Devon, UK countryside village of Tawstock, the 18th-century castle is the last of its kind to have been built in England, according to the listing on HomeAway. Interior-wise, the castle is far from the 18th century, though: It’s as modern as can be with fully updated living and TV areas, a remodeled kitchen, and bedrooms with ensuite facilities. There’s even a foosball table, in case that’s how you like to spend your time in your castles. (I don’t know, is foosball the game of choice in castle life? I am but a mere peasant!)

McDonald’s launches first seasonal McFlurry in 7 years McDonald’s fans are well acquainted with Oreo and M&M’s McFlurries, but this month, the fast food giant is spicing things up with a national release of its first new seasonal McFlurry flavor in seven years. Back in 2012, the chain launched a Holiday Mint McFlurry, which seemed pretty on-brand considering the popularity of the Shamrock Shake. But the 2019 version ditches that minty fresh flavor for cinnamon — and it’s loaded with chunks of a holiday-favorite cookie.

Two lookout towers that were constructed for the original owner, Tawstock’s very own Lord Wrey, are now used as two of the four bedrooms, and the property is surrounded by a castle wall (how fancy!). What’s more, guests can enjoy a one-acre lawn and a rooftop terrace that displays amazing views of the English countryside.
