He was traveling north in the 2600 block of Lake Shore Drive in a white Jeep Cherokee when someone fired at him from a black sedan. He drove to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he was stabilized.

  • A 15-year-old boy and a 30-year-old man were shot around 5:15 p.m. in the 200 block of South Keeler Avenue in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side. They told police they were walking when when someone fired at them from a dark-colored sedan. The boy was taken to Stroger Hospital with a wound to his forearm and the man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg. Both were in good condition.
  • Around 5:10 p.m., a 26-year-old man was shot in the leg in the 2800 block of West 26th Street in the Little Village neighborhood on the West Side after he got into an argument with a group of males, one of whom took out a gun and shot him. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was stabilized. Detectives are questioning two persons of interest.
  • Around 12:15 p.m., a 24-year-old man in a vehicle was shot in the arm by a person passing on a bicycle in the 4400 block of West Maypole Avenue in the West Garfield Park neighborhood. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, officials said.
  • A 23-year-old man was shot three times around 6:30 a.m. by someone in a passing SUV while standing on a sidewalk in the 300 block of East 47th Street in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the city's South Side. The man was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where his condition was stabilized, officials said.
