He spent the next 2,800 feet holding on to his wind-swept shirt with one hand, and the decades-old train with the other before hopping off at the Lafayette Ave. stop.

“It looked like something he had done before because he was so confident,” said Matthew Beary, the man who recorded Thompson’s wild commute.

As it turns out, the daredevil is an old hand at precarious commutes, according to police.

He was similarly pinched four times for dangerous antics in 2017 — mostly on the C train line in Brooklyn.

Thompson was caught riding the back of the train near the Lafayette Ave. stop in September and High St. in March, police said. He was charged with reckless endangerment on both occasions.

Cops busted him a third time in July after he was spied riding on Brooklyn-bound and Manhattan-bound subway cars. When confronted, he bolted for the dark tunnels where officers collared him. For that stunt, he was charged with resisting arrest, reckless endangerment and criminal trespass.

He was slapped with another reckless endangerment charge in November after he was discovered riding on the J train.

For last week’s caper, he was charged with reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct, cops said.

The MTA is no fan of the urban stunts known for causing more than a dozen deaths in the past 30 years.
