WASHINGTON -- DC police are searching for two 18-year-olds who they say stabbed a man to death in Southeast.

Jada Jena Smith and Xavier Dontrell Culbreth are suspects in the death of Jamal Ferrell, 40, of Southeast, according to police.

The stabbing happened around 11:42 p.m. on April 28 in the 700 block of 14th Street. Officers arrived on scene to find Ferrell unconscious, suffering from multiple stab wounds, police said.

Ferrell was taken to a local hospital where he later died.
