Police: Glassport man arrested after missing teen from Kentucky found in his apartment A Glassport man is facing several charges after police said a missing teenager from Kentucky was found in his apartment. Police had been investigating the disappearance of the 16-year-old girl from her home in Paducah. At one point, police went to look for the girl at an apartment in a building on Monongahela Avenue in Glassport. An investigator searched the space where Rory Shelton, 56, lives but did not locate the teen. The building manager later spoke with police and sent then a video that police said shows the girl with Shelton on May 3. Police went back to the apartment on May 7 and located the girl inside. She was naked at the time.

A toddler who disappeared days ago in eastern Kentucky has been found, according to officials.

Investigators said 22-month-old Kenneth Howard went missing Sunday night from his Magoffin County home.

Officials said the family spent time looking for the boy before calling police.

Crews scoured the area with search dogs and helicopters on Monday, and by night, the search was suspended, WKYT reports.

Search and rescue leaders said they had exhausted all of their resources and have done everything they can until they get more information from investigators.

A Beaver County man is charged in the death of his 2-year-old stepson, police said Monday. Ty Lucente, 37, of Freedom, was being held in the county jail without bail on a homicide charge, according to an online docket. The Freedom police chief said Lucente told officers that he fell asleep with the toddler on the sofa after taking suboxone. Police said Lucente did not have a prescription for the drug. Lucente called 911, and medics performed life-saving procedures but could not revive the child, police said. Three other children -- ages 2, 7 and 12 -- were home at the time, police said.
