Deputies in Brevard County have arrested a man who they said fatally stabbed his wife Tuesday at a home in Sharpes while their kids were at school.

Investigators were on the scene for hours after being called to the home on Iris and Cherry streets.

Officials with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office said Jesse Orr was arrested in connection with the death of his wife Samatha Orr and is being held on no bond in the Brevard County Jail.

Investigators said they found Orr inside the house covered in blood.

Jesse Orr is described by friends as someone who believes he’s constantly being watched or spied on by the CIA and followed by drones.

Deputies said they were called to a home on Briarmoor Court at 12:38 a . m . in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies said they found a 48-year-old Edgardo Enrique Figueredo, identified as the shooter, and his wife , 39-year-old Yulimer Zaide, fatally shot in a bedroom.

Deputies have not released the cause of death.

Orr is charged with second-degree murder in the death of his wife.

The couple's children are now in state-supervised care.
