Transgender Woman Muhlaysia Booker Found Fatally Shot In East Dallas Transgender woman Muhlaysia Booker, who was at the center of a viral video where she was beaten near an apartment complex, was found fatally shot in east Dallas early Saturday morning, police confirmed. Police responded to the shooting call in the 7200 block of Valley Glen Drive at around 6:40 a.m near the Tenison Park Golf Course. She was found dead from a gunshot wound. In a press conference on Sunday, police identified the woman as Booker. Police do not have any suspects at this time.

Anne Arundel County police said a man is charged in the shooting of two people in Glen Burnie, early Monday.

According officials, Davon Maynard is charged with three counts of attempted murder and other related charges following the shooting.

Officials said officers responded to the 100 block of Governors Court before 2:30 a.m. for a reported shooting on Monday. Officers did not locate victims once they arrived, however, two victims walked into a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries a short time later, officials said.

Officials said Maynard is also charged with charged with three counts of first-degree assault, three counts of reckless endangerment, three counts of second-degree assault, the use of a firearm in the commission of a crime and wearing a firearm.

Teen Arrested After Threatening Shooting At Lake View High School.
An 18-year-old Lake View High School student was arrested Wednesday morning, after allegedly threatening a shooting at the North Side school. Police said, shortly after 5:30 a.m., officers were notified an 18-year-old man had made threats against Lake View High School on social media. Officers responded to the school, where took the teenager into custody. In a letter to parents, Principal Paul Karafiol said the student’s parent was notified, and there was no danger to the school. “This matter is being handled according to CPS policy,” Karafiol stated.
