Police: Man Charged With Strangling Pregnant Teenager A man is facing charges related to the assault of a pregnant teenager, police say.

Oakland County Sheriff deputies answered a 911 call from Ravenscroft' s home in the 1700 block of Applebrook Drive at about 9:40 p.m. Monday. Oakland County Medical Examiner' s office performed an autopsy on Tuesday and ruled the death a homicide as the result of multiple stab wounds.

A husband has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a child called 911 and told dispatchers his stepfather had strangled his mother.

Jason Lindsey, 36, is charged with second-degree murder in the death of his wife Tynell Lindsey, 38.

According to an arrest affidavit from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the 911 call was by the boy from a home in the 7300 block Sand Lake Road around 6:45 p.m. Monday.

The affidavit said the boy was extremely distraught during the 911 call and could be heard screaming for somebody to stop.

An Orange County man who called 911 last week and said, “I killed my wife ” is facing a second-degree murder charge , deputies said Monday. His wife , Amy Solice, 27, died Thursday after two days in Florida Hospital Celebration Health and Orlando Regional Medical Center.

When deputies arrived they quickly ushered the boy out of the house and said they found Jason Lindsey walking out of a bathroom closet.

They found his wife, Tynell Lindsey, unresponsive on the floor of a bedroom closet. She was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center for treatment but pronounced dead a short time later.

Orange County deputy scammed man out of nearly $30K, affidavit says.
An Orange County sheriff’s deputy is accused of scamming a man out of nearly $30,000, according to an arrest affidavit. An arrest affidavit states Jackson Etienne promised a man that he would help him buy vehicles for a business. The victim gave Etienne more than $27,000 for two buses and an SUV, but never received the vehicles, the affidavit said. Investigators said Etienne instead spent the cash at other places, like restaurants. Officials with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said that Etienne has been relieved of duty without pay. Etienne has been charged with fraud and grand theft.
