Youth pastor at Colorado Springs church arrested on suspicion of sexual assault of a child Stephen Michael Houlihan, 28, a communications pastor at Fellowship of the Rockies church, was booked June 8 on charges of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust, internet luring of a child, and obscenity, according to Fountain police. “At this time, we are unaware of any other incidents involving Houlihan,” police said in a news release. Church officials could not immediately be reached for comment Friday since their offices were closed. Houlihan has worked at the church since January 2017, according to his LinkedIn page, serving as a worship pastor and communications pastor.

A Sophia man is in custody, accused of assault with a deadly weapon and strangling someone, according to the Randolph County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators say they were called about an assault on May 28, that had happened the day before, on the 11000 block of Randleman Road in Randleman.

Authorities say an investigation led to the arrest of Bruce Lee Lineberry Jr., 51, for assault inflicting serious injury, assault by strangulation, misdemeanor assault and battery, and failing to appear in court.

Lineberry was arrested Friday and is being held on $202,000 bond at the Randolph County Detention Center, according to the sheriff's office, he's due in court on Monday.

2 Arrested For Child Pornography By Buffalo Grove Police.
Buffalo Grove police arrested two people in connection with child pornography and one for criminal sexual assault. According to police, Kimberly Schubert, 43, was charged with predatory criminal sexual assault and child pornography. Her bond was set at $1 million and was reduced to $300,000. Schubert has since posted the required bond amount. Police said Jason Akai, 44, was charged with solicitation of child pornography and production of child pornography. The victims were under the age of 13. Police said Akai’s bond was set at $1 milion and he is still in custody in Lake County Jail.
