Florida officer guilty of negligence for shooting caretaker A Florida police officer has been found guilty of culpable negligence for shooting at a severely autistic man and wounding the man's caretaker.News outlets report North Miami police 

Baltimore police said officers spotted a vehicle driving erratically. One of the passengers eventually bailed and took off down an alley. Police say the officer fired seven shots , with Beal being hit four times. The officer who shot Deal is on administrative duties while this shooting is investigated.

Officers went to the apartment which was given to them in the radio call. Rony Parras-Mendez, eighteen years old, came to the door of the apartment armed with a large kitchen knife. Parras-Mendez was given commands, which he did not follow, and quickly moved toward one of the officers

Police were called at about 2:30 a.m. to the restaurant at Highway 287 and Debbie Lane. Police said the man was a customer at the restaurant when he pulled a gun out, alarming other customers and employees.

The restaurant was safely evacuated out the back door of the restaurant.

The man also followed, but police said an officer placed himself between the suspect and the customers and employees.

According to police, the man didn't follow police commands, and that's when an officer shot him. He was sent to the hospital. Police said he is out of surgery in critical condition. His identity has not been released at this time.

A veteran officer fired shots, police said.

Police on Thursday confirmed that two suspects are in custody related to a suspected arson that killed a 3-year-old girl Wednesday. Mansfield police could not provide details on the suspects amid an ongoing investigation, but said authorities do not anticipate anymore arrests related to the fire. The fire occurred early Wednesday in the 200 block of S. Foster Street. The blaze originated at a vacant home and spread next door to a residence with eight people inside. Neighbors helped a pregnant women, her four boys, their father and uncle escape the home.
