3 children who died after Amish carriage crash identified A funeral home has identified three children who died in southern Michigan after the Amish horse-drawn carriage they were riding in was struck by a driver accused of being drunk. Beams Funeral Home of Fremont, Indiana, identifies them as 6-year-old Lillian Graber, 4-year-old Moses Graber and 2-year-old Jacob Graber. Lillian and Jacob died at Friday's crash scene and Moses died at a hospital. Police say they were among five children and their parents were ejected in the crash. Evan Koulikov has been identified as the Spring Valley man who has been accused of drunkenly stealing a taxi and crashing it before fleeing and being arrested in New Jersey on Friday.

The 21-year-old faces felony charges of grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, as well as misdemeanor charges of driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident, Ramapo police Sgt. Michael Higgins said today.

Koulikov is accused of stealing a black Toyota RAV4 taxi at 6 Red Schoolhouse Road in Chestnut Ridge around 7:15 p.m. Friday.

Several minutes later police received a 911 call about a Toyota RAV4 taxi that had been crashed into a tree at De Salvo Court and Wilshire Drive, about a mile away from 6 Red Schoolhouse Road. Witnesses saw Koulikov, who had been driving the stolen taxi and was injured in the crash, flee on foot near the New Jersey border, police said.

Ramapo police, the Rockland County Sheriff's Office, Bergen County Sheriff's Office, and police from Montvale and Park Ridge in New Jersey searched for Koulikov, who was found with the help of Ramapo's K-9 unit, police said.

Koulikov is being held in New Jersey pending extradition to New York, where additional charges are pending, police said.

Kzoo police searching for man accused of taking $10K in property.
 Kalamazoo police are searching for a man accused of taking approximately $10,000 worth of property. The theft took place on June 24 in the city’s Central Business District. Police didn’t specify exactly where the items were taken from or what was stolen. Surveillance footage of a suspect leaving the scene of a theft on June 23, 2019 in Kalamazoo, Mich. Police describe said the man may be in his 40s and surveillance footage shows him a light-colored, four-door car.
