Police: 1 dead, 1 in serious condition in Southeast double shooting
DC police are searching for the suspect(s) involved in the fatal shooting of a Southeast man.
WASHINGTON -- D.C. police are investigating the homicide of a 22-year-old man.
On Saturday around 3:20 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of K St., Southeast after receiving the report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found an unconscious adult male with multiple gunshot wounds, a press release said.
D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded and transported the victim to a local hospital. Police said all life-saving efforts failed, and he was pronounced dead.
The decedent has been identified as George Hendrix, from Southeast, D.C.

WASHINGTON -- One man is dead and a woman is seriously injured after being shot in Southeast, D.C. around 1:15 a.m. Sunday. Officers responded to the 4300 block of 4th Street, Southeast after reports of the sounds of gunshots. Police then found an adult male, 30 year-old Arkeem Jackson, unconscious and not breathing with multiple gunshot wounds, a police report said. Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded and transported the man to a hospital. He was pronounced dead after all life-saving efforts failed.
