A man wanted in connection with a fatal Canton Township shooting was arrested in California Wednesday.

Police say 25-year-old Deny King of Moreno Valley, California was arrested with the help of the US Marshal Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force, the Pacific Southwest Regional Task Force Central District of California U.S. Marshals and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office in California without incident.

The shooting occurred June 27 at Brick City Lounge in Canton Township.

King faces charges for aggravated murder, and felonious assault.

He is currently being held in Cois Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta, California.

The investigation in ongoing and King's extradition back to Stark County is pending. Anyone with information is asked to call the Stark County Sheriff’s Office at 330-430-3800.
