KCPD: Man found shot to death in vehicle at east side apartment complex A man was found shot to death inside a vehicle early Saturday in the parking lot of an east side apartment complex, Kansas City police said. Police officers were called about 5:30 a.m. to the 3900 block of Topping Avenue on a reported shooting. Authorities said security found the man unresponsive inside the car. Officers said he appeared to have been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said they are looking for witnesses. CLEVELAND — A 27-year-old man was shot to death in Cleveland during the early morning of July 5.

Cleveland police said someone called 911 and then hung up at 3:10 a.m. Officers went to the source of the call, a home on Parkview Avenue.

Police found the 27-year-old in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. Officers and EMS gave the man first aid until he was rushed to University Hospital. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Investigators learned that a driver passing through Parkview saw the man in the street and called 911. Neighbors said they heard multiple gunshots in that area.

Members of the Cleveland Homicide Unit and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office are investigating the death. Anyone with information regarding this matter is asked to contact investigators at 216-623-5464.
