A juvenile has been arrested after the Indianapolis Fire Department said a blaze at an east-side apartment complex was intentionally set.

At 10:38 p.m. June 27, 14 IFD units and three Lawrence City Fire Department units were dispatched to Stonybrook Commons Apartments after receiving multiple calls about a fire coming from the second floor of a two-story apartment building. The first unit arrived on scene three minutes later, IFD said.

Fire and smoke were showing from the rear of the second floor, and the blaze was put out at 11:23 p.m. The blaze left 23 residents displaced,  one person slightly injured, and caused an estimated $125,000 in damage, IFD said.
