Man arrested by US Marshals in May shooting death

Man arrested by US Marshals in May shooting death Authorities have made an arrest in the shooting death of a 45-year-old man that took place in late May. The US Marshal's Task Force located and took Jonte Murray into custody without incident on Thursday, officers said. The 41-year-old was arrested on suspicion of murder in connection to the May 26 homicide of Everett Johnson in the 8100 block of Palisades Drive. In the report, Murray was found in the area of March Lane near Interstate 5. After being interviewed by detectives, he was booked into San Joaquin County Jail on homicide charges. Known by his nickname "Love," Johnson was one of two people shot to death in unrelated incidents.

Detectives from the Clermont County Sheriff's Office have arrested two people in connection with the murder of Jason Hamrick, of Tate Township in Clermont County.

Police arrested Angelina Hamrick, 32, for her involvement in the murder of her husband. Hamrick has been charged with one count of aggravated murder, a felony in the first degree.

Hamrick was taken into custody without incident and was transported to the Clermont County Jail, where she is being held without bond.

Additionally, the Sheriff's Office arrested Michael Andrew Clark, 33, of Abilene, Texas for his involvement in this homicide. Clark has been charged with one count of conspiracy to commit aggravated murder.

Both Hamrick and Clark will appear for their arraignments at 8:30 a.m. Monday, in Clermont County Municipal Court.

The body of Jason Hamrick, 42, was found just before 8 p.m. on Sunday, in the 2400 block of Swings Corner Point Isabel Road, a rural stretch of road in Tate Township.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking that anyone with information regarding this homicide, or regarding any suspicious activity between June 28 and Sunday in the area where the body was found, contact them at 513-732-7510.
