The New Orleans Police Department has arrested two people in connection with a shooting that left a 5-year-old injured.

The shooting happened in the 7000 block of Bundy Road.

The child arrived at an area hospital and was suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm, according to the NOPD.

According to the NOPD, Malcom Levy was arrested in an apartment neighboring the one where the victim was located. The bullet is believed to have traveled through the wall and struck the victim, according to police.

One person is dead and another is injured following a shooting in Shenango Township, Lawrence County on Wednesday morning. The shooting happened around 1 a.m. on Bryson Mill Road. The person who was killed has been identified as 23-year-old Brian Eisenhuth. Investigators said Eisenhut was found dead inside a house on that road. 24-year-old Ronald Lantz Jr. was taken to the hospital, but his condition is unknown. "We're hoping we can get to the bottom of this sooner rather than later, but this type of incident would pretty much shake anyone up in that area because that was a pretty quiet neighborhood," said Trooper Jim Long. State police have taken over the investigation.
