Fairview NJ homicide: Four arrests made A 23-year-old man was found shot to death in his first floor apartment on Saturday night.

HARTFORD — Hartford Police are investigating a homicide behind Bulkeley High School at 300 Wethersfield Ave.

Authorities say one male victim suffered a fatal gunshot wound and was transported immediately to a local hospital.

Police have not yet identified the victim or any additional details to the investigation.

Major Crimes Division and Crime Scene Division are on scene.

School was not in session at the time of the shooting.

A FOX61 crew is en route to the scene. We will update this story as it develops.

Police investigating triple shooting in Hartford

Police investigating triple shooting in Hartford Hartford Police are investigating a shooting that wounded three male victims early Saturday morning, officials said. Officials say the shooting happened around 3:15 a.m. in the area of 490 Wethersfield Avenue. There was a ShotSpotter activation. According to police a 29-year-old male and a 21-year-old male each suffered a gunshot wound to the leg, and a 20-year-old male was shot in the hand. The victims were taken to the hospital by a private vehicle, said police. Police say officials are investigating and there are no road closures expected. Investigators are interviewing the victims at the hospital.

San Jose police are investigating the death of an 84-year-old man as a homicide, after discovering the victim amid a burglary-in-progress call. Officers responded to a residence at the 3200 block of Montecito at about 9:30 a.m. Friday, where they noticed a vehicle leaving the area. Police attempted to stop the vehicle and then engaged in a brief pursuit before calling it off for safety reasons. The officers were unaware at the time of the victim inside the home, who was near death when they arrived, police said. The man, whose identity is pending next-of-kin notification, was pronounced dead at the scene. There have been no arrests.
