Police: 2 shot, wounded in separate incidents in Milwaukee, 1 arrested
Milwaukee police are investigating two separate shooting incidents that happened Tuesday night, July 2. Two people were injured as a result of the shootings. According to police, the first shooting happened around 6:20 p.m. near 24th and Brown. The victim, a 21-year-old man, suffered a gunshot wound to his right leg. His injury is non-life threatening. One of the suspects from the shooting has been identified and police are searching for him. The shooting was the result of a drug deal dispute. The second shooting happened around 10:45 p.m near 25th and Clybourn.
SEATTLE, WA — The man killed in a targeted shooting in North Seattle on Tuesday night has been identified by the King County Medical Examiner's office.
Seattle police believe John Dale III, 28, was targeted by two shooters. He was shot while walking along North 96th Street between Midvale and Aurora Avenue, according to police.
Seattle police conducted a ground and air search after the shooting, but did not locate the suspects.
Dale was the second person to be shot and killed near the intersection of Midvale and North 96th Street since late May. Steven Sande, 47, was shot inside his RV during an apparent drug robbery, according to court records. Two brothers, Adrien W. Diaz, 32, and William A. Diaz, 26, have been arrested and charged with murder in that case.
Man accidentally shoots friend while taking apart gun.
BELVIDERE TOWNSHIP, Mich. - A man from Washington, Michigan, accidentally shot his friend while breaking down a gun Sunday night. The shooting occurred at Musson Road south of M-46 just before 7:30 p.m. Sunday. An investigation found that a 48-year-old man was breaking down a handgun and accidentally discharged the firearm. The bullet struck a friend, identified as a 46-year-old male, who was sitting nearby. The bullet entered the victim's right leg and passed through and into his left leg. The victim was transported to Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids with non-life threatening injuries.
