Police are still working to determine what led to the shooting.

"We know that there was a basketball game inside this park, along with several hundred other people having a party, or something of that nature," Ross said. "You know two males start firing -- they weren't firing at each other -- they were firing at the crowd seated inside of the playground area."

The shooters are believed to be between 18 and 25-year-old, standing anywhere from 5'6" to 6'2" and were wearing dark clothing, according to police.

Ross would go on to say that he can't believe that people would resort to this type of behavior, and that it was amazing more people weren't hurt with how many were inside the park.

Anyone with information pertaining to this shooting is urged to contact police.
