Teen Faces Weapons Charge After Shots Ring Out On Asbury Park Boardwalk The shooting in Asbury Park occurred around 10 p.m. Thursday, shortly after the city staged its annual beach fireworks display which had drawn large crowds. Authorities say multiple shots were fired during the incident, causing some to quickly flee the boardwalk. A 55-year-old woman was treated at a hospital for a wound that wasn’t considered life-threatening, while a 25-year-old woman refused treatment for what authorities said was a minor wound. A 16-year-old Asbury Park boy was arrested shortly after the shooting by a Manalapan Township police officer who was working a security detail for the fireworks show.

A teenager was injured in a shooting at a "field party" in Alamance County over the weekend.

Deputies with the Alamance County Sheriff's Office said they were call to report of shots fired at the intersection of Christys Lande and Bo Fuller Road in Mebane at 12:42 a.m. Sunday.

Deputies saw a large number of cars and people leaving the scene as they arrived.

While still at the scene, deputies were told that a 17-year-old boy had arrived at the emergency room at Alamance Regional Medical Center with a non-life-threatening wound to his right leg.

Deputies interviewed the victim, who stated he was dancing when he was hit. The victim stated he was transported by someone who was at the party.

According to police, just before 9 p.m. officers responded to multiple calls for a person with a gun and multiple people shot in different parts of Baker Playground, in Overbrook. Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross spoke at a press conference Saturday night following the shooting. "We've got seven victims so far, ranging in age from 18 to 28," Ross said. "Mostly arms and leg wounds, we do have graze wound to the face and another guy has one -- a graze wound to the head.

A teenager was shot and killed at a house party in Tulare. A teenage boy was killed and two others were injured in a shooting near Tulare's Del Lago Park. Little is known about the deadly shooting but Tulare police are working to uncover what led to the boy's death.

One man injured after shooting at Super 8 Motel in Manchester Township.
YORK COUNTY, Pa. -- Police are investigating a shooting at the Super 8 Motel in Manchester Township, that left a 20-year-old Hanover man injured. Officers say multiple shots were fired on the third floor of the motel, and the 20-year-old man was shot twice in the arm. He is facing non-life threatening injuries. Northern York County Regional Police say the call came in at 1:20 a.m., on Wednesday. Officers remained on scene for over three hours investigating, at the Super 8 Motel on Arsenal Road. Police also responded to a home invasion that happened overnight in Hanover, and they are now looking to see if the two could be related.
