$900K worth of drugs found in Bremerton bust, officials say Authorities say drugs valued at more than $900,000 were seized during a bust this week in Bremerton. The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office says investigators arrested a 45-year-old man after executing a search warrant Wednesday along County Lane NW. Over nine pounds of meth and 13 pounds of heroin were seized as well as half a pound of cocaine and suspected fentanyl pills, officials said in a release.  Three guns and about $20,000 in cash were also found. MERIDEN — Seven people were arrested Monday and charged with alleged drug and conduct-related offenses as police seized “a considerable amount of drugs” and two handguns in an early morning raids.

Hamden man arrested after allegedly trying to deflate tire of police car HAMDEN — A town man was recently arrested after allegedly trying to deflate the tire of a police car, according to the department. Police responded to Walmart for a report of shoplifting at approximately 5 p.m. Saturday, Capt. Ronald Smith said in a release. While Officer Gabriel Garcia was inside the store, a concerned citizen indicated “that an individual removed a tire valve cap from Officer Garcia’s marked police vehicle,” “then attempted to remove air from the tire,” Smith said. Ryan Kiekel, 35, of Mix Avenue, was identified as the individual allegedly involved and arrested, Smith said.

Meriden police from the crime supression, detective and SWAT units, as well as the Cheshire / Wallingford Regional SWAT Team, executed a search and seizure warrant at approximately 5 a.m. Monday, Lt. John Mennone said on Facebook.

Detectives “retrieved two (2) handguns along with a significant amount of ammunition, $ 4.937.00 in cash and a considerable amount of drugs and drug paraphernalia,” Mennone said.

Three men — Angel Rojas, 27, Pierre Langlois, 18, and Denzell Woolard, 21, were charged with possesion of narcotics with intent to sell and conspiracy to possess narcotics with the intent to sell. Rojas was also charged with interfering with a search warrant; Langolis with risk of injury to a minor; and Woolard with carrying a pistol without a permit. They were given $300,000, $150,000, and $250,000 bonds respectively.

A juvenile was arrested as well, Mennone said.

“As a result of this investigation, these officers formulated and executed a plan to remove illegal weapons and narcotics from the streets of Meriden and successfully completed this mission without any injury to themselves or the public,” Mennone said. “We are extremely proud of their efforts and commend them for their dedicated work to the safety of the citizens of Meriden.”
