Northeast Baltimore man arrested after allegedly shooting his girlfriend during a fight, police say A 53-year-old Northeast Baltimore man was arrested for allegedly shooting his girlfriend after a fight, Baltimore Police said Monday morning. Anthony Washington Sr. was arrested Saturday morning and faces 11 charges, including first-degree attempted murder and assault. He is being held without bail and no attorney was listed for him, according to online court records. Baltimore County police have charged a man in connection with a shooting Monday night in Middle River.

Marquis Devonn Warren Matthews, 42, of Middle River, has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony/violent crime.

County police said Matthews shot a 29-year-old man around 11 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of Kingston Road. The man was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive, police said.

A preliminary investigation indicates the victim and suspect know each other and had an ongoing personal dispute that culminated in the shooting.

Livermore man sought in fatal shooting of 16-year-old boy, police said Livermore police officers are searching for a 21-year-old man suspected of fatally shooting a 16-year-old boy during a verbal dispute on Monday, authorities said. Detectives believe Jorge Luis Tellez, of Livermore, opened fire on the teenager during a verbal altercation at 985 E. Stanley Boulevard on Monday, according to the Livermore Police Department. The teen, whose name has not been released by police or the Alameda County Coroner’s Bureau, was taken to a local hospital and later died from at least one gunshot wound to his abdomen. Officials said the two were involved in an argument before Tellez allegedly pulled out a firearm, shot the teen, and fled the scene.
