A Lancaster County couple who are former volunteer firefighters have been convicted of abusing and torturing an 11-year-old girl.

A jury found the girl's father, Kenneth Greenly III, 36, and her stepmother, Jodie Hudson-Greenly, 43, guilty Friday of felony counts of endangering a child, conspiracy and misdemeanor assault.

According to officials with the district attorney's office, the pair beat the girl and deprived her of food, sleep and the bathroom for hours over a weekend in April 2018. Prosecutors said the couple bragged about what they did to the girl, including making her wet herself and pouring the urine over her head.

Parents speak out after 2-year-old daughter went missing in northern Michigan woods

Parents speak out after 2-year-old daughter went missing in northern Michigan woods The parents of a missing 2-year-old girl who was found alive and healthy in the dense woods of rural Michigan on Tuesday morning say it's a miracle she survived.

The abuse happened at a home on Red Cedar Lane in Marietta and at the Maytown-East Donegal Township Fire Department, where Greenly and Hudson-Greenly served as volunteer firefighters, officials said.

The executive officer for the fire department said members reported the abuse and testified against the pair.

Officials with the district attorney's office said the girl also testified and said she was beaten with a belt "too much" to count how often.

Greenly and Hudson-Greenly will be sentenced in a couple of months.
