Police seek 2 men after playground shooting leaves 7 injured in West Philly PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) -- Police say they are working to track down two men after a shooting at a West Philadelphia playground leaves seven people hospitalized. According to police, just before 9 p.m. officers responded to multiple calls for a person with a gun and multiple people shot in different parts of Baker Playground, in Overbrook. Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross spoke at a press conference Saturday night following the shooting. "We've got seven victims so far, ranging in age from 18 to 28," Ross said. "Mostly arms and leg wounds, we do have graze wound to the face and another guy has one -- a graze wound to the head.

Police say the shooting happened near the Ramsgate subdivision on Ramsgate Drive SW.

The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, according to Concord Police.

At this time, based on the preliminary investigation, police believe it wasn't a random act. Instead, they say the victim and the shooter were acquaintances.

Police say the suspect is not currently in custody. Officers are looking for witnesses.

Concord police searching for two men in fatal shooting at Motel 6 Concord police are searching for two men suspected of shooting a man to death at a Motel 6. Officers were called to the hotel at 3606 Clayton Road at about 11:15 p.m. Friday and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds, according to a police statement. The victim, identified by police Saturday as Daniel Schrader, was taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, where he was pronounced dead. Police say Adam Renfroe, 32, of Brentwood and Robert Brown, 40, of Bay Point are wanted in connection with Schrader’s death. Concord SWAT members served a search warrant on a Bay Point home Saturday afternoon, but neither suspect was at the residence.

Soon after , officers received a call from the St. Mark's Taylorsville Emergency Center informing them that a man had recently arrived with a gunshot Police will question both him and six other people who were in the home at the time of the shooting . None of them have identified the shooter yet, Gray said.

Deputies are investigating what led to a deadly shooting and stabbing at a Paulding County home. The Paulding County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call before 4 a.m. about a shooting at 37 Mill Lane. When they arrived, a man was found dead from a gunshot wound.

Shootings at two homes left five dead and two injured in northern Wisconsin, police said Monday. The suspected shooter was among the dead, according to the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Department. Officers responded to a possible shooting call at about 10:30 p.m on Sunday and found a man and woman dead and two others wounded. Police did not disclose whether the dead man or woman was the suspected shooter. While attempting to notify the suspected shooter’s next of kin, police discovered another crime scene four hours later: three additional homicide victims, a man, woman and juvenile boy.
