Police: Mother of missing 4-year-old boy confesses, says he's dead Malachi Lawson, the four-year-old boy reported missing in Baltimore on Friday night, is dead, police said. According to Baltimore Police in Saturday's press conference, the boy's mother admitted to investigators that Malachi was never missing, but was dead. "It is with a heavy heart that I stand before you this Saturday afternoon," Baltimore Police Commissioner Michael Harrison, said. Last night after extensive interviews with Malachi's mother ... she confessed that her son was not missing, but deceased." Post Police said the mother subsequently gave detectives the location of Malachi's remains. Police said his body was found in a dumpster.

Baltimore, MD (WJZ)– Baltimore City Police at a press conference today announced 4-year-old Malachi Lawson has been found dead.

Police say the mother of the child admitted to investigators last night that her child was not missing but was dead.   She also told police where they could find is remains which were later located in a dumpster.

The boy’s mother and her partner have charged with the death of the little boy.

The body of 4-year-old Malachi Lawson has been transported to the medical examiners office and homicide detectives say they body had obvious signs of injury.

Man charged with murder after body found in shallow basement grave.
A Worcester man was in court Tuesday to face murder charges in connection with the death of man whose body was found in a shallow grave in the basement of a home. Thomas Garon, 54, had previously been charged with moving a dead body and misleading investigators in connection with the death of 68-year-old Marcelino Muesces. On Tuesday, he was charged with murder. He pleaded not guilty and was ordered held without bail. He will return to court in September. Police found Muesces' body in March buried in the basement of the home owned by Garon's mother. Muesces was reported missing in February after he picked up a paycheck at work.
