Teen accused of beating man to death in in Stark County An 18-year-old was arrested early Saturday morning after authorities say he beat a 64-year-old man to death. According to the Stark County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to the 6000 block of Beth Avenue Southwest (lot 49) in Bethlehem Township just before 4 a.m. The victim, who has yet to be identified, was found dead at the scene. The suspect, identified as Lee V. Berry, was taken into custody. Berry allegedly got into an argument with the victim before hitting him several times with a "blunt object." The two apparently lived in the home together, although their exact relationship is unknown at this time.

RANDLEMAN, N.C. -- A teen is charged with assault with a deadly weapon after a victim said he was cut with a machete and chased through the woods, according to a Randolph County Sheriff's Office news release.

Deputies responded to the Torch Drive area of Randleman after they got a call about an assault Sunday.

The caller claimed to have been chased through the woods by a person armed with a machete.

When deputies arrived, they say they saw a victim covered in blood and sitting in the driveway just a short distance from the woods.

Teen who slammed into patrol cars along I-10 charged with aggravated assault, sheriff says Three law enforcement vehicles were involved in an accident Sunday morning that shut down part of I-10 near Mercury. 

Three large wounds were visible.

The victim told deputies he had been chased by two people and one of them cut him several times with a machete, the release says.

A second victim with visible cuts was also found at a different location, deputies say.

Both victims were taken to Moses Cone Hospital and are in stable condition.

Ellijah Stone Bailey, 19, of Randleman, was arrested and charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

He was given a $350,000 secured bond.

His first court appearance is set for Monday.

Investigators say they believe the incident is domestic in nature.

This investigation is ongoing.

Life Flight responds to machete attack in east Harris County.
An alleged trailer theft led to a crash and machete attack in east Harris County on Tuesday morning, the sheriff tweeted. Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 13400 block of Crosby Lynchburg after reports of two men involved in a physical altercation in the roadway. Investigators said the two men earlier stole a trailer from a yard but crashed when the trailer’s owner chased after them. One of the suspects pulled out a machete and cut his partner. He was said to be in serious condition at last check. A witness told KHOU 11 News the victim was struck in the head with the machete but was still able to run to a nearby business to get help.
