State police seek help locating missing woman in Ellington ELLINGTON, CT (WFSB) - Connecticut State Police are asking for the public's help in their search for a missing woman in Ellington. State police said 45-year-old Kimberly Kasulis was last seen on Saturday in the area of the Soap Stone Mountain Trail on the Ellington-Somers line. They said her vehicle was found abandoned in the area with her cell phone by it. K9 units searched the area until the sun set on Sunday. Troopers said they expect to resume the search on Monday morning with the help of the Ellington and Somers fire departments. Troopers said Kasulis is 5'4" tall, weighs 145 pounds and has brown hair with brown eyes.

VERGENNES TOWNSHIP, Mich. - The Kent County Sheriff's Office is looking for a Lowell area man who went missing Sunday.

KCSO said Austin Goebel, 23, has been missing from his Vergennes Township home since late in the day on August 11. Family members said they have concerns for Goebel's mental health and believe he could be in danger, according to police.

Authorities checked the surrounding area including known trails and parks but the search was negative. A K-9 track was also attempted despite a large time gap and was negative, as well as a local hospital check.

Missing Man May Have Access To Weapons: Oakland University Cops Alexander Walker was last seen on Oakland University's campus, despite being banned from the school. His family believes he may be a threat.

Goebel is wearing unknown clothing with blue Nike shoes. He is described as a white male, 5-foot-10, 160 pounds with light brown hair and a shaggy goatee.

Investigators are actively working the case today.

Overland Park Police say the body of missing woman Sylvia Ann Ussery-Pearson was found in Benton County, Arkansas, Tuesday. Ussery-Pearson was reported missing after failing to return home Monday. Police first tried to track her phone, which pinged in Cass County, Missouri, prompting a search of land in that area. Officers said in a news conference Wednesday the Kansas City, Kansas, officer-involved shooting was linked to her disappearance.
