Woman accused of crashing into construction site while driving drunk with child in car Police arrested a suspected drunk driver Friday morning who allegedly crashed into a construction site and fled the scene of a crash. The crash happened shortly before 1:30 a.m. Friday near the 3200 block of West Northwest Highway, according to Dallas police. Police said a 24-year-old woman drove into a construction site and hit a construction worker. Witnesses told officers that she ran away from the crash while holding her 2-year-old child. The woman was taken into custody. Police arrested her for DWI with a child under 15 and failure to stop and render aid. Investigators said the constructor worker was in pain, but declined to be sent to the hospital.

BEDFORD, N.H. (CBS) – A New Hampshire woman was arrested early Wednesday morning after police say she was drunk and driving on the wrong side of the highway for 10 miles.

Rachel Barris, 22, was charged with driving while intoxicated and reckless conduct.

Barris was pulled over around 3:45 a.m. after witnesses called 911 to report she was driving northbound on the southbound side of the Everett Turnpike in Bedford.

One witness said Barris went through the Bedford toll plaza in the wrong direction.

Barris eventually exited onto Interstate 293 in Manchester and was stopped by State Police.

OCEANA COUNTY, MI – A driver accused of striking and killing a pedestrian in Oceana County has been arrested on suspicion of drinking and driving. Scott Parsons, 43, of Hart was struck and killed around 2:16 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, according to a news release from the office of Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast. The incident occurred on East Madison Road just west of 126th Avenue in Crystal Township. Police report that Parsons was walking along a gravel section of Madison when he was struck by a 2010 Chrysler Town & Country van driven by a 28-year-old Mears woman.
