Plea deal reached in case of teen charged in armed robbery of Cleveland priest CLEVELAND, Ohio — One of the teens involved in an attack on a Cleveland priest has reached a plea deal. Amin Walker Jr. pleaded guilty to charges in court Monday afternoon. He’ll be sentenced Sept. 4. Father John Kumse was collecting eggs from the chicken coop outside of St. Mary’s Church on East 155th Street on Dec. 11, 2017. He said he noticed two teens hiding in the bushes. Prosecutors said Jaylen Miller and Walker demanded the victim’s belongings and chased him before firing three shots. Kumse fell and was injured while the teens fled in a van, which was stolen from a group home. Terrance Kimbrough, 16, who was the driver, was sentenced to seven years in prison.

Investigators say the boyfriend got into an argument with the two men inside the fast-food restaurant because they were catcalling his girlfriend.

The argument spilled outside the Church's on Imperial Valley near North Beltway 8.

Police say the gunman shot both men in the legs before fleeing the scene.

Both victims were taken to an area hospital and are expected to survive.

Police are still looking for the gunman.

Man shot on Wolf Road in Pine Hills area, officials say Deputies are investigating a shooting in Orange County. People living nearby say a man was shot several times in the leg, back, and stomach. It happened on Wolf Road, near the Pine Hills neighborhood, officials said. Deputies say they are not looking for suspects at this point, which may mean they know who is responsible, but haven't made any arrests yet. A block of Wolf Road was closed off with crime tape. Neighbors say they heard gunfire just after 7 p.m. Thursday. "I'm on my porch and I heard a 'bop, bop, bop, bop.' I said, 'somebody done got shot,' and then they started screaming. All of them started running out of the house screaming," a neighbor named Larry said.

Teen shot in the face and back at park near Greatwood, sources say.
A teenager was shot Thursday afternoon near the Greatwood community, according to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office. Sources tell KHOU 11 reporter Brett Buffington the victim was shot in the face and back at a park in the 400 block of Macek Rd. Investigators do not believe the shooting was random. The 16-year-old victim is in serious condition at the hospital, but expected to survive. Deputies believe they have a good lead on the shooter, and are searching for that person now.
