Arizona man arrested for allegedly stabbing mother to death A Bullhead City man was arrested Sunday for allegedly stabbing his elderly mother to death before threatening to kill his brother and stepfather. Travers Proulx, 43, was booked into the Mohave County Jail on one count of first-degree murder after he allegedly stabbed 74-year-old Bette Vaughn to death. Officers responded to a house in the area of Ramar Road and Lakeside Drive at 4:15 a.m. to a report that Proulx got into an argument with Vaughn and started stabbing her with a knife. Proulx's brother, who was not identified, reportedly woke up to the sound of his mother screaming and tried to get Proulx out of the house.

A 14-year-old Brevard County boy has been charged with attempted murder after deputies said he stabbed his mother multiple times.

According to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, Brock Decker attacked his 53-year-old mother from behind at the family’s Suntree home on July 12.

He stabbed her in the chest multiple times and then holed up inside his home for four hours refusing police orders to come outside, according to an incident report.

Prosecutors have charged Decker as an adult.

Howard County police are trying to locate a man wanted on multiple warrants. According to officials, Joseph Fletcher, 37, of the unit block of Rollright Court in Columbia, has multiple outstanding warrants for burglary, assault & a protective order. Officials said they have been unable to locate Fletcher, but believe he is still in Howard County. Police are offering a reward of up to $500 for information on Fletcher's whereabouts.
