Two women arrested for reported armed robbery of Suffolk McDonald's Suffolk police arrested two women for a reported armed robbery at a McDonald's early Friday morning. © Suffolk Police Department Latrivia Yvette Holmes, 38, was arrested and charged for a reported robbery at the McDonald's in Suffolk where she worked. Latrivia Yvette Holmes, 38, from Portsmouth is a manager at the McDonald's in the 6200 block of College Drive on Suffolk were the robbery was reported. Holmes was arrested Friday and charged with Robbery of a Business, two counts of Embezzlement, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, False Statement During an Investigation and False Police Report.

The store clerk shot the robber in the leg, Pollozani said. The would-be robber was taken to a hospital for treatment. His wound was not expected to be life-threatening, Pollozani said. Kenneth Darnell Bridgewater, 27, was charged with aggravated robbery . He remained in the Tarrant County jail

Police responded to a report of an armed robbery shortly before 1 a.m. to the 1100 block of West Kiest Boulevard and South Polk Street.

Officers said the suspect tried to rob the store and attempted to stab the employee with a screwdriver. A fight between the suspect and the convenience store clerk ensued, but the clerk happened to be a cowboy. He grabbed a rope and tied up the suspect until police arrived.

The employee said he is a cowboy from West Texas, grabbed some rope, and tied up the suspect.

Police said the suspect was tied up so tightly that they had to use a knife to cut the suspect loose.

The clerk had minor injuries.
