Texas fugitive one of two suspects charged after Forsyth County vehicle pursuit, crash Deputies charged two men with multiple felonies following a search warrant after a home invasion, vehicle pursuit, crash and pursuit on foot. After a report of a home invasion where Tyler White drove away, a deputy tried to initiate a traffic stop, but White refused, according to deputies. A vehicle pursuit followed. Deputies said White's vehicle crashed at the intersection of Shattalon Drive and Murray Road in Winston-Salem. White then ran away. There were no injuries to others and the vehicle had been stolen, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.

A Los Angeles gang fugitive with an extensive violent criminal record has been arrested in Nevada after a standoff with a SWAT team in Sparks.

The U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force had been looking for 42-year-old Terry Williams since May, when he walked away from a halfway house in Las Vegas where he was under federal supervision after his conviction for felony possession of a weapon.

A member of the Compton Crips, Williams has a record that includes arrests in connection with attempted murder, drug trafficking, robbery and battery with a deadly weapon.

Federal agents and local law officers tracked him to a Sparks address Tuesday on the edge of Reno near Interstate 80.

He was taken into custody after a lengthy standoff. He's being held in the Washoe County jail without bail. It's not clear if he has a lawyer.

According to Gwinnett police, it started as a domestic situation between a man and a woman. The woman escaped, police said. A baby who police initially said may have been inside was found and safely removed from the apartment. The baby was returned to its mother, police said. Police are still searching for the suspect.
