NYPD Seek Bronx Deli Employee After Finding Kidnapped Man In Basement NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- NYPD say they chased two suspects into a Bronx deli at approximately 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday and ended up discovering a man, bound and beaten in the basement . Police say they are now searching for 35-year-old Richard Milwood, who is an employee at the deli located at 1724 Bussing Avenue in the Wakefield section of the Bronx. According to police, Milwood granted them access into the basement, where they found a 49-year-old male who claimed he had been held against his will for the past three days. The victim claimed that at approximately 7:30 p.m.

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A Bronx homeowner allegedly beat a man he saw on his property to death with a metal object late Thursday night, according to authorities.

Police found the 29-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive after arriving at the scene, near East 223rd Street and Barnes Avenue just before midnight.

He had head trauma and was taken to Montefiore Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police were responding to a call about a robbery in progress.

A 54-year-old man was taken into custody.

The investigation remains ongoing and no charges have been filed yet but authorities said they are expected.

The 29-year-old has yet to be identified.
