Staff Sgt. Ladonies Strong, who was driving the transport vehicle when it overturned on June 6, was charged with involuntary manslaughter, negligent homicide, reckless driving and two specifications of dereliction of duty, the Army said in an email.

Strong is assigned to TF 1-28 from Fort Benning, Georgia, where she is currently waiting a preliminary hearing pursuant to Article 32, which is scheduled for mid-October.

The crash took the life of cadet Christopher "C.J." Morgan, of West Orange, New Jersey, and injured 21 others (two trainers and 19 cadets).
