  UPS driver shot by armed robber with shotgun in Cleveland’s Central neighborhood, police say CLEVELAND, Ohio -- A 55-year-old UPS driver was shot Tuesday afternoon by a robber with a shotgun after the driver gave the man $5, police say. The man continued following the UPS driver after he got the money and demanded more, then shot him in the hand with a shotgun as the driver called 911, police reports say. A 42-year-old Cleveland man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated robbery and felonious assault, but formal charges have not yet been filed.The shooting happened about 5 p.m. on Scovill Avenue near East 55th Street. The driver told police the robber approached him outside his truck and asked for cash. The 42-year-old man demanded more.

According to Enid police, officers responded Thursday afternoon to a report that a dog had shot a woman inside a truck in the area of North 10th Street and East Hemlock Avenue.

Officers arrived and spoke to the driver, who said they had stopped in the road due to a passing train. He said his dog had been in the back seat and jumped on the center console, causing his pistol to fire a round into his passenger’s thigh.

The driver said he placed his belt around the woman’s leg to try to stop the bleeding.

Police say the woman panicked and accidentally put the car in reverse. The vehicle hit a wall and came to a stop.Two women can be seen running out of the vehicle. Flynn then jumps in the car and flees.

Officers said they also spoke with the woman, who said the dog jumped on the central console, causing the firearm to discharge. Police said their statements matched the evidence found at the scene, and they do not suspect foul play.

The woman was taken to a hospital to be treated for her injuries.

According to Oklahoma City police, officers responded Wednesday morning to a report of a suspicious vehicle near Kelley and Britton. When they arrived, police said a van backed into an officer's patrol car and left the scene, police said. Police said they were unable to locate the driver Wednesday. Officers followed up on the investigation Thursday morning and went to the area near Northwest 122nd Street and Santa Fe Avenue. When they arrived, police said a male suspect on the porch pointed a gun at the officers.
