On Tuesday, police responded to an injury crash in the 3400 block of Southeast 44th Street. When they arrived, they discovered that two vehicles, a black Lincoln Town Car and a blue Toyota Matrix, were involved in a collision.

Investigators determined the Toyota was making a left turn onto Southeast 44th Street from Clendon Way while the Lincoln was traveling east, according to a news release. As the Toyota pulled out onto Southeast 44th Street, the driver of the Lincoln made an evasive maneuver to avoid a collision, went left of center and hit the Toyota on the driver's door.
