(AP/WAVY) — The family of a Hampton Roads Regional Jail inmate who died has reached a 5,000 settlement in their lawsuit against the jail and Court documents show Henry Stewart’s family will be paid 0,000 from the jail and 5,000 from Correct Care Solutions to settle the wrongful death suit .

A settlement has been reached in the civil case filed by the family of Antwon Rose against former East Pittsburgh police Officer Michael Rosfeld and the borough of East Pittsburgh, an attorney involved in the case has confirmed.

Rosfeld was charged with criminal homicide and later acquitted following the shooting death of Antwon Rose in June 2018.

According to court documents, the civil case against Rosfeld was "dismissed with prejudice" earlier this month.

The same decision regarding the borough of East Pittsburgh came down Tuesday.
