  Woman Dies After Being Struck By Car On Mass. Pike In Millbury A young woman was killed on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Millbury Friday night after she pulled her car over and walked onto the highway. © Provided by CBS Broadcasting Inc.Massachusetts State Police said they responded to a call of a crash on the highway around 11 p.m.They said their investigation showed that the woman, later identified as 27-year-old Kimberly Hannon of Douglas, pulled her Nissan Altima over to the side of the road, got out of her car and tried to to cross the road. She was then hit by a car going west.Hannon was found near the median on the westbound side of the road, according to police.

Maine State Police said they are looking for a man who walked away from a crash early Monday morning and has not been seen since.

Police said they responded to a crash on Lee Road in Lee at 3 a.m.

They found a car had crashed into a tree, causing serious damage to the vehicle.

The driver, Brett Doane, 25, of Lincoln, was nowhere to be found, police said.

They believe he was not wearing a seat belt and was injured in the crash.

  5 injured in crash involving firetruck in Aurora Five people were taken to the hospital after a crash involving a firetruck in Aurora just before 3 p.m. Sunday. 

Police said they learned a homeowner spent 45 minutes before Doane right after the crash before Doane walked away from the crash scene.

Police said the crash happened at 2 a.m. and the homeowner told them Doane was not bleeding but said his leg hurt.

A neighbor then contacted police and Doane left, walking west on Route 6 toward Lincoln, police said.

Officials said Doane was last seen in the area of Dam Road in Lee.

He was carrying two backpacks and wearing brown hiking boots, tan/gray Dickie's-style pants, a gray long sleeve shirt and a canvas Carhartt-style vest over his shirt.

Police think he might have been picked up by someone, but he has not been located and his family has not heard from him.

Anyone with information on Doane's whereabouts is asked to call Trooper Andrew Peirson at 207-973-3700.

Maine State Police said Tuesday the deaths of a man and woman in Augusta are being investigated as a murder-suicide. Police said Loryn McCollett, 30, was stabbed to death by her boyfriend, Eric Ryan, 30, at the apartment they shared with a friend on Northern Avenue.
