Following a closed-door hearing before a court clerk Thursday morning, Trooper Andrew Patterson will be facing a charge of lewd , wanton and lascivious conduct for his behavior at a Luke Bryan concert last June.

Patterson then allegedly punched the man in the nose, who then threw a chair at the off-duty trooper.

Patterson was first suspended with pay and then without pay after the charges were filed.

His lawyer said he admits getting into a fight with another fan at the concert, but the trooper denies any allegations of lewd behavior.

Charter school teacher in Orange County accused of molesting student .
A charter school teacher in Orange County is accused of molesting a student, police said. Officials with the Orlando Police Department said Michael L. McMillian, a teacher at Victory Christian Academy, was arrested Tuesday morning on a warrant. Sign up for our Newsletters McMillian is charged with lewd and lascivious molestation, lewd and lascivious conduct, child abuse, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and offenses against students by an authority figure. Police said the victim is a student at the school. Victory Christian Academy fired McMillan when it learned about the allegations, police said.
