Battle Creek man arraigned in fatal weekend shooting, second man named as co-defendant
Xavier Kellie-Sims, 22, of Battle Creek was arraigned Thursday on open murder and firearms charges in the shooting death of Elijah Williams. Williams, 23, of Battle Creek, died at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo after being shot once in the chest.At the arraignment a second man, Duane Michael Young, 25, of Battle Creek, was named as a co-defendant, although Detective Sgt. Todd Elliott of the Battle Creek Police Department said Young has not been charged in connection with the homicide.
The woman who allegedlyinto the lion exhibit at the Bronx Zoo was arraigned Friday on criminal trespass charges in Bronx criminal court.
Myah Autry, 29, made headlines after a video of her appeared to show her standing and dancing in front of a lion at the zoo on Sept. 28.
It is not clear how she got into the exhibit. Officials described it as a "fenced or otherwise enclosed" area that housed both giraffes and lions.

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) - The NYPD is asking for the public's help in finding three New York City children who went missing this weekend. The one case involves 14-year-old Steve Small and 12-year-old Kayla Small (pictured left and center above). The two of them went missing around 11:30 a.m. Saturday. They were last seen at their home near Louisiana and Dewitt avenues in East New York, Brooklyn. Another case involves missing 12-year-old Sahannamarie Wright (pictured at right above), who went missing around 9 p.m. Friday.Wright was last seen at her home near Bruckner Boulevard and Beach Avenue in the Soundview section of the Bronx.
The zoo told police there is a moat with an approximately 14-foot drop between where the woman was allegedly standing in the video and the lion.
Autry, a Brooklyn resident, was arrested Wednesday night after turning herself in, according to the New York Police Department. She was charged with two counts of criminal trespassing.
Police had asked for the public's help in finding her after the incident.
Autry did not respond to ABC News for comment.
Calls to the zoo were not immediately returned Friday.
In a previous statement, a spokesperson said the action "was a serious violation and unlawful trespass that could have resulted in serious injury or death. Barriers and rules are in place to keep both visitors, staff, andsafe."
Autry was released on her own recognizance and is due back in court on Dec. 22.
