  29 injured as bus from Paris to London flips over in France A bus headed from Paris to London flipped onto its side in the northern Somme region of France on Sunday, leaving 29 people injured, four of them seriously, authorities said. The FlixBus that crashed on Sunday on a wet highway was carrying passengers from the U.S., Spain, Australia, Netherlands, Romania, Russia, Britain and France. The bus was carrying 32 passengers, a statement from the prefecture of the Somme said. The injured were taken to Amiens Hospital and several other regional facilities, the statement said. A press official, Herve Fosse, said later that most of the injuries weren't serious and about half weren't expected to remain hospitalized.

The crash happened at about 9:30 a.m. Saturday on Walter McCartha Road, according to troopers.

Officials with Highway Patrol say the car was traveling southbound on Walter McCartha Road when it entered the railroad tracks.

The car was then struck by a train traveling westbound.

One person was airlifted to Prisma Health Hospital. Two other people were transported by emergency medical services to Prisma Health, as well. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

Three people were killed and several others were hurt when a train hit a charter bus in Biloxi, Mississippi, on Tuesday, Biloxi's police chief said . Around 50 people were on the bus, which was traveling from Austin, Texas, Police Chief John Miller said .

Troopers said an unoccupied car was abandoned on the train tracks, where it was struck by a westbound Amtrak train with 249 people on board. The four people , all adults, who allegedly left the car on the tracks "have been accounted for" and were not injured , troopers said .

Officials say the crossing is controlled by stop sign only.

Highway Patrol is investigating.

29-year-old Bridgewater man killed in crash on Interstate 495 in Milford .
Authorities said a 29-year-old Bridgewater man was killed in a crash on Interstate 495 in Milford Tuesday morning. Massachusetts State Police have not released the man’s name. Troopers were called to a report of a crash on the off-ramp from I-495 northbound to Exit 20 in Milford around 6:20 a.m. Troopers located a 2008 Honda CR-V that, for reasons still under investigation, had left the travel lane and veered off the left side of the off-ramp. The SUV then went down an embankment and struck several trees.The Bridgewater man who was driving the SUV died from his injuries.State police closed the off-ramp at the time of the crash, causing a six-mile backup.
