A person wanted in connection with a deadly shooting during an armed robbery at a metro gas station, was shot and killed by police following a standoff early Tuesday morning, according to Oklahoma City police officials.

Police said one person inside the store is dead. The victim has not been identified.

Police said they received another call that led them to the suspect at a home just miles away near Southwest 29th Street and Sara Road, according to police. That person then barricaded himself inside the home, prompting a standoff.

Police officials confirmed that during the standoff, the suspect opened fire on the officers. That’s when officers returned fire, shooting and killing the suspect.

Police said there were people inside the home at the time, and they were not injured.

NASHVILLE (WSMV) - Metro Police say a woman threatened to kill her friend over a fast food drive-thru order. According to arrest records, 26-year-old Julia Dueease drove her friend to Wendy's on Charlotte Pike to get something to eat. The victim was the one paying for the meal and got upset when Dueease was ordering a lot of food at the drive-thru. Dueease pulled into a parking space and asked to see what was in the bag, before getting upset with the victim and pulling out a pocket knife. Dueease t opened the pocket knife, pointed it at the victim, and told her to get the [expletive] out of the car. The victim got out but dropped a $5 on the passenger side floorboard.
