Fonseca-Rivera's death was ruled a homicide by the Vermont Chief Medical Examiner's Office.

The occupants of the vehicle may have witnessed the shooting and police are looking to speak with them, according to officials.

Fonseca-Rivera worked for Katsiroubas Produce of Hyde Park, Massachusetts, and his last known location was leaving Rutland and heading south on Vermont Route 103 at about noon Friday.

Police believe the shooting happened between 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 1, near where his body was found on Route 103 south, between Lower Bartonsville and Williams roads.

"We are deeply saddened to learn of the tragic death of our dedicated, kind and reliable co-worker, Roberto Fonseca-Rivera," Katsiroubas Produce CEO Ted Katsiroubas said in a statement. "We learned in the past few hours that Vermont State Police suspect foul play in Roberto's death. We hope the investigation is quick and successful. We are assisting in any way we can. We want justice for Roberto.

Second Person Arrested For Murder Of Teen In Plano .
PLANO (1080 KRLD0 - Plano police have arrested a second person who will be charged in the murder of a 16 year old boy last Saturday. Marquell Ellis Jr. was shot and killed at a party while his family says he was playing a video game. Police arrested Kemond Smith, 17, Monday, but they had said a second person was involved. They say Christian Treyshun Hill, 18, was also shooting. According to an arrest warrant affidavit, four people showed up uninvited to the party and were thrown out. Police say Smith and Hill returned and started shooting.The affidavit says Hill talked with detectives the day after the shooting, but he said he only heard the gunshots as he drove away.
