A second person has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of 19-year-old Aniah Blanchard, the Homewood woman who was a student at Southern Union State Community College and has been missing for a month, according to multiple news reports.

Local news station WRBL reported 35-year-old Antwain Fisher, of Montgomery was arrested and charged with first-degree kidnapping. Fisher also goes by "Squirmy," the report says.

Patch was not immediately able to reach the Lee County District Attorney's Office on Saturday to confirm news of the arrest.

Fisher was arrested by police in Auburn on Friday night.

Earlier this week, a judge ordered Ibrahim Yazeed, 30, to submit a DNA sample to the prosecution, WBRC reported. Yazeed was arrested in connection with Blanchard's disappearance on Nov. 8 and is also charged with first-degree kidnapping.

A large amount of blood was found in Blachard's SUV, according to WBRC. Detective Josh Mixon testified in court that Yazeed was at the Auburn convenience store where Blanchard was last seen on Oct. 23 around the same time, WBRC reported.

Mixon also said a witness saw Yazeed force Blanchard into a car, the report says.
