  Accused Gunman Leads Dallas Police On Chase With Child In Vehicle, Ends In Crash A man suspected of shooting a person in Dallas led police on a chase with a child in the vehicle he was driving early Monday morning, authorities said. Police said the incident started when they responded to a shooting at around 4:30 a.m. on Barrett Drive near Highway 175 in the Pleasant Grove area. According to the initial investigation, the suspect had shot a woman and drove away from the scene with his child.Police said officers chased the suspect from Jim Miller Road to Interstate-30 and then west into downtown Dallas.

A woman was arrested on a complaint of first-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of a man in Oklahoma City.

According to police, at about 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, officers responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment near Northwest 122nd Street and North Rockwell Avenue. Officers learned a domestic-related altercation took place between the victim and the suspect.

The victim, later identified as 28-year-old George Bell, was shot during the altercation and pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect, a 28-year-old woman, was taken into custody and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on a complaint of first-degree murder.

A 32-year-old woman was shot in her lower back and a 61-year-old man was shot in his right arm when people driving in a vehicle on the 3500 block of Simpson Stuart Road started shooting, according to police. Multiple people reported the shooting to police shortly before 10 p.m. A 50-year-old woman and 9-year-old girl were also on the scene of the shooting. They had been sitting in a vehicle at the shooting location.

The investigation is still ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call the Homicide Tip Line at 405-297-1200.

KOCO 5 is not releasing the woman's name at this time, because she has not been officially charged.

Woman wanted in connection with hit-and-run that killed motorcyclist in OKC, police say .
Oklahoma City police on Tuesday released photos of a woman wanted in connection with a hit-and-run crash that killed a motorcyclist Sunday night. According to police, the crash was reported at about 7 p.m. near Northwest 23rd Street and Meridian Avenue. The motorcyclist, later identified as 48-year-old Curtis Turner, was westbound on Northwest 23rd Street when a dark red Chevrolet Suburban crossed the street from a private drive into a private drive in front of the motorcycle, according to the police report.Sign up for our NewslettersTurner laid the bike down and collided with the passenger side of the Suburban, according to police.
