  San Antonio man killed after shooting estranged wife during standoff with police A man in his 40s died after shooting his estranged wife and himself during a standoff with San Antonio police Thanksgiving morning at a Northeast Side home, according to Police Chief William McManus. McManus told reporters that a SWAT officer shot the man inside the home at 4400 block of Eisenhauer because although the man had already shot himself, he was still alive and a potential threat since he was armed. The woman was taken to a nearby hospital with a non-life-threatening wound, McManus said.According to McManus, neighbors had reported a disturbance in the front yard of the home about 2:30 a.m.

Ada police officers and Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agents are investigating an officer-involved shooting Tuesday.

According to the OSBI, Ada police officers were serving felony warrants at a home in the 800 block of West 12th Street, when someone outside the home opened fire on the officers.

One officer was hit by the gunfire, OSBI officials said.

The officers then returned fire, hitting the suspect, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The officer who was shot was taken to a local hospital, where he was treated and released.

No names have been released.
