A 32-year-old woman was shot in her lower back and a 61-year-old man was shot in his right arm when people driving in a vehicle on the 3500 block of Simpson Stuart Road started shooting, according to police. Multiple people reported the shooting to police shortly before 10 p.m. A 50-year-old woman and 9-year-old girl were also on the scene of the shooting. They had been sitting in a vehicle at the shooting location.

Authorities identified the suspect in a violent attack outside of an Antioch barbershop as 28-year-old Ruby Delgadillo, of Brentwood.

Antioch police are seeking a driver who allegedly struck a barber with her Toyota Prius on Wednesday afternoon and rammed him through the glass window in front of the barbershop because she was dissatisfied with her child’s haircut.

Antioch police officers responded to a report of a vehicle striking a pedestrian and crashing into Delta Barber Shop’s glass storefront at 1631 A St. at 3:45 p.m., when they found the barber — identified by police only as a 63-year-old Antioch resident — suffering from major injuries.

Authorities identified the suspect as 28-year-old Ruby Delgadillo, of Brentwood.

Multiple witnesses told police that the suspect behind the wheel intentionally struck the man shortly after “an argument over a haircut the victim provided to the responsible’s child,” police said.

Witnesses told police that the suspect got into her Prius with her son, “intentionally drove at the victim, hitting him and pushing him through the glass storefront.”

Police say the suspect then drove away with her son in the car. Police were looking for the driver and the vehicle, which has a California license plate 8LHB387. The car was described as a blue 2006 Toyota Prius.

MPD: Woman shot at by suspects during her newspaper delivery route in Germantown .
Two suspects are wanted after police say they fired several shots at a woman who was out delivering newspapers in the Germantown area. Memphis police say a Germantown patrol officer saw two vehicles speeding down South Germantown Road near Stout Road. The officer saw shots being fired from one of the vehicles, but was unable to catch up to the suspects. While officers were responding to the area, a woman reported that she had been shot at after she was approached by two males while delivering newspapers in the Pangbourne Cove and Cross Village area.
