Angel Hall, 38, was arrested Monday afternoon by the Marietta Police Department. Hall works as the records supervisor for Cobb police.

According to the warrant, Hall brought meth to Cobb police headquarters between Nov. 29 and Dec. 2. Marietta police said she had the drugs in her lanyard and purse.

Police learned about the drugs in Hall's purse after officers said two elementary school students found it at a local park.
Elizabeth Porter Park is a popular place for families and is about half a mile away from Cobb police headquarters.
The children found the purse in a parking lot Saturday and turned it over to a civilian employee who responds to non-emergency calls.
Cobb police have not commented on the arrest. Sources told Channel 2 Action News that Hall is on administrative leave while the department conducts an internal investigation.
Marietta police is handling the criminal investigation since it made the arrest.
Hall was booked into the county’s jail before being released later Monday on a $4,070 bond, records show. Jose went by Hall's home on Tuesday but no one answered the door.
